“Archival potential”
This exhibit was created with the idea that fashion, as a whole, is inaccessible to lower income and rural communities. A 3D-scanned fashion archive would allow for people in those communities to access designer clothing at a level not made possible by photos.
About
Sherry Gao is a sophomore who is interested in Digital media and technology as well as art. She is originally from Beijing and her living experience in Hong Kong, Pebble Beach, California as well as Hang Zhou all had influenced her to see things from various perspective and would want to pursue further in making graphic art combined with technology. She has studied film photography for years and now trying to explore the field of digital photography and its manipulation such as double exposure etc..
